WWI Centenary

You may have noticed the silhouettes and banners which have been placed at The Triangle in Hallatrow and The Batch in High Littleton to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.  The silhouettes were kindly donated to the Villages by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust.  They are a visual representation of the fallen – those who are remembered but not here.  The banners were designed and printed by Engravatec, Rod Rich.
In this way we hope you will join with us in remembering not just those who have given their lives in the service of their country but also all those who serve and put themselves in danger in order to protect the citizens of this country.

More information about the silhouettes can be found on www.therebutnotthere.com
