The Council heard from a resident regarding the intention of the Royal British Legion of selling the High Littleton hut and they also asked that the Parish Council request a plan from the Woodland Trust for restocking Greyfield Woods after the recent works.

2604.11 For information – Royal British Legion Hut to be listed for sale
The Council noted the Royal British Legion’s intention to sell the High Littleton hut. K Fuglesang and C Lindley to liaise to draft a letter to the Royal British Legion regarding the Royal British Legion holding the premises upon Trust for the purpose of pursuing the charitable aims and objectives of the Royal British Legion in High Littleton and the surrounding district. Councillors to consider use of any funds which may become available and/or use of land/building.

Clerk advised that current occupier wishes to release the plot which will be offered to the first person on the waiting list.

K Fuglesang reported that the Committee are obtaining quotes to renovate the Pigeon Room. Clerk to request a budget from the Committee for 2027.28 to ensure more accurate planning for the precept request.

P Ghillyer reported High Littleton defibrillators all in service.
- School Governors
Ward Cllr Morgan reported that she is now a School Governor.
- Grass and Cemetery
The Council noted that the first cut of this year has been done. Clerk to advise contractor that the Council would prefer the cuttings to be picked up as per contract and to request a price to treat the moss on the path.

- Greyfield Wood
P Ghillyer reported that he is liaising with the Woodland Trust on fallen trees on paths, the mine hole at the bottom of the main track has been fenced off and the rotten gate post has been reported to B&NES. P Ghillyer to request a plan of action, to restock the Woods, from the Woodland Trust and will ask to meet with a representative.
- Environmental Group
R Lane reported a quieter Repair Café with 15 items handed in for repair, a litter pick has taken place and the minutes of the AGM will be circulated.

Resolved to approve the pavements from the Spar to the Haynes. And the moss clearing from path in the cemetery could also come from this budget.
- Highway/footpath Issues – for information: traffic counters to be placed near Hallatrow Bridge and on New Road
The Council noted counters to placed on 20 April for 7 days.
- Transport/buses – i) protest at a B&NES full council meeting re buses ii) [TO RESOLVE] to consider and decide response to West of England public engagement exercise on the Bus Plan, running 30 March to 10 May
i)this representation on behalf of residents deferred to after Ward Cllr Morgan has met with the WECA Mayor ii) This survey is aimed at individuals and the Council would like to encourage all residents to complete the survey, which can be done online or via a paper form.

The Council noted a panel is down and there is fly tipping on the site.
