Minutes of the Meeting of High Littleton Parish Council held on Tuesday 11 October 2025 7 pm.
Councillors present
A Godwin, R Lane, S Gould, C Ingle and M Whiting. Ward Cllr Ann Morgan (arrived 7.30pm and left at 8pm). S Gould chaired the meeting.
Co-option of resident on to the Parish Council.
Resident C Ingle signed the acceptance form and was co-opted onto the Parish Council.
The Council noted the resignation of D Hunter from the Parish Council. Clerk to advice B&NES monitoring officer.

R Lane reported that grass cutting satisfactory and the meadow has been mown and scythed and will be sown on 29 October.
- Charity of Mary Jones
S Gould reported that the next meeting will be held on 18 November where the school’s request for funding towards residential trips for Pupil Premium pupils will be considered along with vouchers for Christmas.
- Parish Magazine
The Council agreed that the back cover of the next edition could be used to advertise the dates for future repair cafes.
- Greyfield Wood – [TO RESOLVE] to consider and decide resident request for a Woodland Trust representative to regularly attend meetings

R Lane reported that the Fungi Walk on Sunday was well attended and 21 items were handed in for repair at the latest Repair Café. There is an Avon Needs Trees meeting on 21 October and a fund raising quiz on 21 November, both being held in the Church Hall.

Resolved to approve weeds/moss on the footpath from New Road to Scumbrum Lane, footpath from Southover to Eastover and weeds on Hallatrow bridge, to B&NES via Fixmystreet initially.
- Highway/footpath Issues
The Council agreed to approach B&NES re rumble strips and VAS for Hallatrow Bridge. Clerk to request.
- Transport/buses
The Council noted that the Dunkerton & Tunley Lead Councillor for buses continues to pursue conversations with and action by WECA in relation to local bus services and this action continues alongside those of the Forgotten Valley Bus Campaign.
- Streetlighting
The Council agreed that P Ghillyer obtain quotes for repair of faulty lamps and disconnection of lamps which are no longer working and no longer required.
- Rosewell Home

- Church Farm
The Council agreed that the disintegrating plastic be reported to B&NES as a Health and Safety issue. Clerk to report.

The Council noted one vacancy.
