Minutes of the Parish Council meeting of High Littleton Parish Council held on Tuesday 11 August 2026 7 pm.

Councillors present

K Fuglesang, L Thornton, S Gould, C Lindley, C Ingle and P Ghillyer.

Opportunity for the members of the public to speak (the public are asked to limit their address to 5 minutes with maximum time allowed 20 minutes). Please note that the Parish Council cannot make a decision on any item which is not on the agenda, but items may be put forward for a future agenda.

  1. Recreation Club representatives attended to request funding towards air conditioning for the Recreation Club hut.
  2. One resident attended to view the meeting.

The Council agreed that the results did not provide any information that indicated action is needed, therefore action can only be taken if new information is brought to the Council’s attention.

The Council noted that this consultation is aimed at residents and encourage residents to complete the survey.

Cllr Lindley reported that the hut is due to be valued next week and a leaflet will be circulated.

Resolved to request Hallatrow Bridge, Greyfield Road and Scobell Rise to be weeded and swept.

  • Highway/footpath Issues

Clerk to progress on replacement of the VAS by the Old Station Inn ( to be purchased from CIL funds) and replacement of the VAS by B&NES outside the school.

  • Transport/buses

The Council noted the new 100 bus service.

Cllr Ghillyer reported he is awaiting a quote from B&NES for the removal of the 3 dead lamp posts at Mearns.
